Donald Trump's Abortion Policies Would Kill Women
Rolling Stone
October 20, 2016
"Dana Weinstein was pregnant with her third child, 29 weeks in, less than three months to go. She and her husband wanted this child. Then, terrible news: a routine sonogram revealed a brain anomaly that meant their baby almost certainly wouldn't survive, and whatever life it had would be full of suffering.
Imagine making the decision that faced Dana and her husband.
Now imagine Donald Trump making that decision for them"
This is the first paragraph of the article and you can tell already how blunt and emotion ridden it will be. This is the scary and devastating truth for some women. It puts things in perspective for people that wouldn't have to face this (like men or women who don't want children). Giving a real life situation to uneducated people, helps get a point across.

The first thing you see on the NowThis website is big white letters proclaiming "Homepage. Even the word sounds old." Next to this statement is seven icons from seven different social media apps. All immediately recognizable. The goal of this liberal news platform, is to deliver your news to you in videos through different social media apps. By removing articles and videos from their website and replacing it with links to their various social media accounts, NowThis makes their content beyond easy to view and digest. I went to their Facebook account and watched a few videos. They were all less than a minute and a half. They had captions explaining the story and was paired with music that set the mood. Under each video was a sea of comments ranging from long, thought out paragraphs to quick barks of uneducated opinions . Next, I went to their YouTube page and saw the same thing. And Instagram, Twitter etc... Each app had different content. Facebook seemed to be more serious and hard hitting news, while Instagram showed more positive, uplifting news. But each account had the same way of getting it across. I think this qualifies as journalism. I think i'd call it "bite sized journalism." NowThis is making news more accessible to everyone, mostly teenagers. Their short videos are quick, informative and deliver what people want and need to know.
